CouplingSeveral sets of diaphragms (stainless steel sheets) are alternately bolted to the two coupling halves, and each set of diaphragms is formed by stacking several pieces, and the diaphragm is divided into a link type and a whole shape of different shapes. The diaphragm coupling relies on the elastic deformation of the diaphragm to compensate the relative displacement of the two shafts. It is a high-performance flexible coupling for metal strong components. It does not need oil, has a compact structure, high strength and long service life. It has no rotating gap, is not affected by temperature and oil pollution, and has the characteristics of acid resistance, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for shafting transmission in high temperature, high speed and corrosive medium working conditions.The diaphragm coupling consists of at least one diaphragm and two bushings. The diaphragm is pinned to the bushing and generally does not loosen or cause backlash between the diaphragm and the bushing. Some manufacturers offer two diaphragms, but also three diaphragms with one or two rigid elements in between, and the two sides are attached to the sleeve. The difference between a single diaphragm coupling and a double diaphragm coupling is the ability to handle various deviations, and the single diaphragm coupling is less suitable for eccentricity in view of the need for complex bending of the diaphragm.
